June 4, 1991 Ben Stokes born in Christchurch, New Zealand. Gerald Stokes, his father, played global rugby leagues for New Zealand. A two-time county deal with Durham at 18 was expected after his pre-promise. His third ball caught Mark Ramprakash in his 2009 one-day debut against Surrey for FC. Stokes admitted his recklessness and promised to return to top-flight justice. World Cup 2019
On July 14, 2019, Ben Stokes felt every human emotion. Ben Stokes faced the last ball with two demanded after England had taken the game into the Super Over. Bazball and Test captaincy
Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum’s “Bazball” attacking style, vulgarized by the press, changed Test cricket after Joe Root’s resignation in 2022. Stokes has led England to 13 Test wins in 18 since becoming captain, winning praise.
Due to the demands of playing all three formats, Stokes left ODIs in July 2022. Stokes was named Player of the Match in England’s 2022 ICC T20 World Cup final win over Pakistan. Stokes returned to ODIs before the 2023 50-over World Cup. Stokes returned to England for a bilateral series against New Zealand after 14 months away of ODIs. He scored the highest English ODI score of 182 off 124 in the third at Oval.
Indian top league
In T20, it’s very helpful to have an all-rounder who can move seams and hit big shots. It’s not a surprise that Ben Stokes got paid a record amount of money during the 2017 IPL deals. The English player was very useful during his IPL season with the Rising Pune Supergiant. He was better at RPS gun bowling, especially with the yorker and other variations at the end of a game. Among the games he won by himself was one of the most popular IPL hundred in the league.
